Herbert Gubow

Herb was a graduate of Cass Technical High School and Walsh College. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1968. Herb was a caring and loving family man placing his family above all else. He was a husband, father, zeyde, brother and uncle. He worked for a major automotive supplier in financial operations as a plant controller. He travelled abroad for the company and had offices in Germany and in Mexico where he designed and set up systems compatible with the U.S. operation. Herb was a numbers guy and in retirement taught classes to tax preparers for American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).

The family travelled for years with the Jewish Camping Club in Detroit. Herb was a "hands on" fix-it guy who took on the challenge to fix whatever came his way. He was a positive thinker and a very brave soul.

His love lives in our hearts. He was a good man with a good heart and he will be in our memories forever.
