Dr. Sheldon L. Brenner was born and raised in Detroit. He graduated from Mumford High School, Wayne State University and Chicago College of Osteopathy. Sheldon and his wife, Bonnie Weiss, moved to Rhode Island where Sheldon served in the United States Navy. The Brenners returned to Michigan with their children, Holly, Melissa, and Andrew, where Sheldon completed his residency and additional training. Dr. Brenner practiced pediatrics in Farmington until he accepted a position at Children’s Hospital as Chief of Ambulatory Pediatrics, Residency Director, and eventually Chief of Staff.

Sheldon was known for his great sense of humor and love of golf. He was a man of great integrity and dignity, and was loved by his family, friends and patients.
